I had an amazing stay at this hotel right on the waterfront. The location was perfect, as it was not far from major tourist attractions and Genova Principe station. The hotel facilities were great, with clean and well-appointed rooms. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and the staff were helpful.

The room we stayed in was enormous and had a classy, two-story layout. It was such a treat to stay in a historical building with so much character. The location of the hotel was also great - right in the heart of the harbor area and not far from the train station. This made it really convenient to explore the city and visit the major tourist attractions. Plus, there was a supermarket nearby which was super handy.

One aspect that we didn't like was that the neighborhood didn't feel very safe in the evenings. It made us a bit uncomfortable walking around at night.

As adventure travelers, we loved the prime location right by the Porto Antico and the convenience of having great restaurants within walking distance. The hotel's spotlessly clean, huge rooms provided ample comfort after a day of exploring. The cooked-to-order breakfast with omelettes, eggs, and pancakes was a delightful treat. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were extremely helpful. The proximity to the railway station made it easy for us to venture further afield, like Portofino.

We were really surprised by the unique round bed in our room. It added a touch of excitement to our stay at Hotel De Ville. The room itself was spacious and modern, with a big TV and perfect cleanliness throughout. The hotel, situated in a Middle Age old noble palace, exuded a sense of history and grandeur. The breakfast had a nice variety of pastries and a delicious a la carte menu with several types of omelettes and eggs. The location, although busy, provided fine views of the port. Despite some minor inconveniences, our overall experience was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
